I've been told by good friends to stop rocking the boat .. to stop "criticizing" churchianity, etc. Actually, considering some of the messes I've gotten myself and people I love into by criticizing real abusers, perhaps it is good advice. But, the "reasoning" leaves me cold. I'm told that if a church has a 100 members, there must be some good there .. people must be receiving something that they keep going back for.

OK .. on the human level I agree, to a point. BUT, when Jesus taught something very different for God's people, and when His message is NOT getting out due to doctrines and traditions and abusive authoritarianism .. what real good are those people receiving?

If we don't proclaim what Jesus teaches, and show how the false and partly false does not measure up to His Message, then ... don't we have any responsibility? I don't know. I'm getting tired. I'm tired of the same old passivity and habitual Christianity being passed off as the real thing. But, I'm also very tired of the abuse of religious Christians. They are full of "it" and of themselves and they have all these twisted ways to defend themselves using "scripture". halleluia anyhow!
