Each day is an opportunity to begin anew. We can start over every day. Forgiveness means we are loosed to begin life brand new.

Of course, I can hear everyone saying immediately "that isn't true". There are consequences from our past. We have experiences that limit us, and it isn't possible to start over brand new.

That is true, to a certain extent. But, God has plans for us, and is ready to help us start anew whenever we turn to Him and seek His guidance.

Whether a new beginning is effective or not depends upon whether we are attempting to create a new identity of our own making, or whether we are seeking to become the identity that our Creator made us to be. Do you understand the difference?

So long as we want to continue pursuing self and feelings, we will never be successful at new beginnings. But, if we are seeking to live according to our Creator's values and ethics, and to serve His purpose in us, this recreation is always honorable and honored.

So, do you want to keep getting the same results in your life that you have been getting? Then just keep trying to make yourself over according to human standards. But, if you are sick and tired of the results you are getting, back up and read the Manufacturer's instructions for your life.

He makes all things new for those who seek His will.
