In the next few weeks I hope to get some video files here that will explain better three things: a. My testimony; b. My calling; and, c. What God is saying to and through me these days. There is one particular message that I hope to get on streaming video next week: "WHERE the Spirit of the Lord is, THERE is liberty!"

This is a different kind of discipleship ministry. This ministry is about teaching people to KNOW JESUS and follow Him, and to know God's Grace in a way that sets them FREE to be what He created them to be, and EMPOWERS them to do His will!

God loves you! Nothing you can do can make Him love you more, nor is there anything you can do to make Him love you LESS! God loves you with an EVERLASTING LOVE!

Other ministries are based upon the qualifications and righteousness of the people in those ministries. This ministry is based upon the Qualifications and Righteousness of Jesus Christ Who enables us to do His works.

It is time for me to get back to my initial calling to Haiti. I need to fulfill God's call to train a new generation of disciples and leaders for Jesus' Church in Haiti. Therefore, I'm actively planning to return to Haiti this November, for at least six months.

I will be establishing a Discipleship Training Center. Our mission values are as follows:

• Live as close to the economic level of those being ministered to.
• Bond with the culture and complete language study.
• Earn the right to speak by first learning who the people are.
• Teach discipleship: A values and relationship based approach to faith, rather than an ideological-doctrinal concept of faith.
• Live our faith first and foremost

I've been in Haiti more than 25 times, and speak Creole sufficiently to teach and preach there. I've also ministered in several Haitian churches in the USA over the years. This isn't a hobby, it is a calling and mandate.

In 1997 I was able to take my brother, Randy, with me to Haiti for a week. He was a photographer. After the trip he told me he had expected that he would see that a few people knew me in a couple of places in Haiti. He was shocked to see that I was known and greated warmly everywhere we went in the country: Port-au-Prince, Cap Haitien, O Cay, and many points in between. I love the Haitians and they know it.

What am I saying? I'm saying this isn't some passing fancy. I've been involved in ministry to Haiti since 1983. My calling and ministry has been confirmed there time and again.

I need your help in helping young Christians, called to be leaders to their own people, to fully break out of the bondage of their culture and mindset through Jesus Christ. Will you help? The Problem of Pain by Dan Jenkins attempts to deal with the question of why bad things happen to good people. Most of all, this is a book of encouragement to those who have been devastated by painful experiences in their lives. It is a call to each one reminding them that God has not forgotten them, and that pain is an opportunity to find and experience God's peace and healing in our lives.
